EDUCATIONAL TRUST M. Byrl Williams, P.E., Chair [email protected] Annual PA Golf Outing The 11 annual Pennsylvania Golf Outing took place on July 17 at Chartiers Country Club in Pittsburgh. The Event benefits the DFI Educational Trust Penn State Schol- arship Fund and the DFI Educational Trust University of Pittsburgh Scholarship Fund. The golf outing had 110 golfers and raised $12,000 for student scholarships. Since 2006, this event has raised more th than $375,000 for DFI Educational Trust scholarships. These scholarships are available to civil engineering students attending any accredited college or university in the United States. The awards this year included 13 scholarships from the Trust’s General Scholarship Fund, 6 more than in 2016. Also awarded at this time were the Thomas Wysockey Civil Engineering Scholarship and the John O’Malley Civil Engineering Scholarship. A total of $41,000 in scholarships were awarded.
