McMillen Jacobs Asso- ciates announced the promot ions of Mark Lawrence, P.E., Jan Van Greunen, PhD, P.E. and John Waggoner, P.G. to the position of principal. Lawrence has over 35 years of experience and leads the excavation sup- port design group in the San Francisco office. Van Greunen has more than 40 years of experience and is based out of the San Francisco office. Wag- goner has over 35 years of experience in the appli- cation of engineering geology to public and private sector civil engineering projects. He is based in the Pasadena office. CZM Foundation Equip- ment announced the appointment of Cynthia Liles as South Central sales representative. She will oversee all aspects of sales, including developing and main- taining relationships with customers, and attending industry meetings and events with associations such as ADSC and DFI. Regan Tolley became Midwest sales represen- tative for the company. Prior to joining CZM, Tolley worked as opera- tions manager at Illini Drilled Foundations and attended DePauw University. William Johnson became product support manager for the company. He will oversee the setup of new and rental fleet equipment and handle all technical and warranty support. McKinney Drilling Company announced an internal reorganization of its operations structure, aligning the offices into four geographic regions: Northeast, Mid- Atlantic, Southeast and South Central. Four district managers were promoted to vice presidents to oversee each region’s field and office operations. Lance E. Shreffler, P.E., was promoted to vice president of the Northeast region. He holds an M.S. in civil engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and has over 17 years of experience with McKinney. Harold Gathers is vice president of the Mid-Atlantic region. He holds a B.S. in civil engineering from Penn State University. Michael Robinson was promoted to vice president of the Southeast region. Duane Frye became vice presi- dent of the South Central region. He has been with McKinney for 22 years and opened Seaboard Trans- mission Line Services as a division for McKinney Drilling Company in 2011. GZA announced the promotion of Margaret Kilpatrick to associate principal in the Provi- dence, R.I. office. She holds a B.S. in environmental engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an M.S. in chemical ocean- ography from the University of Rhode Island. James Novak was promoted to associate principal in the Oak Brook, Ill., office. He has more than 30 years of environ- mental analysis experience and earned a B.A. in geography and environ- mental studies from North- eastern Illinois University. GRL Engineers announced that Rozbeh B. Moghaddam, Ph.D., P.E., joined its growing engi- neering team. Rozbeh has a Ph.D. in geotechnical engineering from Texas Tech University and an MBA from Eastern New Mexico University. Case Foundation Com- pany announced Daniel P. Bien as president. Former president, Robert Schock, will advise during the transition as president emeritus for a year before retiring. Bien has over 20 years of technical and management experience in caisson foundations. He received a B.S. in civil engineering from Marquette University and an MBA from Illinois Institute of Tech- nology. Schock served as president since 2008 and has over 40 years of experience in the geotechnical construction industry.
