March 10-12, 2021: DFI-PFSF Piling & Ground Improvement Conference in Australia The second DFI-PFSF Piling & Ground Improvement Conference has been rescheduled for March 10-12, 2021, at International Convention Centre (ICC) Sydney. This conference promotes all aspects of deep foundations, earth retention and ground improvement works. Sessions will cover design, testing, con- struction, ground improvement, risk and project delivery practices, challenging project case studies, and developments and innovations. www.dfi.org/PFSF2021 May 10-14, 2021: IFCEE The International Association of Foun- dation Drilling (ADSC), Deep Foundations Institute (DFI), Geo-Institute of the ASCE (G-I), and Pile Driving Contractors Association (PDCA) are jointly hosting the International Foundations Congress and Equipment Exposition (IFCEE 2021) at the Hyatt Regency Dallas in Texas, Monday, May 10 - Friday, May 14. The program includes technical paper and poster sessions, panel discussions, indoor exhibits, an outdoor equipment exposi- tion, educational short courses, technical committee meetings and networking events. The event also features the DFI Osterberg Memorial Lecture presented by Erik Loehr, Ph.D., P.E., associate professor, University of Missouri-Columbia, DFI trustee, and trustee liaison to the DFI Deep Foundations for Landslides/Slope Stabil- ization Committee and the Testing and Evaluation Committee. www.IFCEEXPO.com June 23-25, 2021: SuperPile ’21 SuperPile ’20, originally scheduled to be held in St. Louis in June 2020, is being held as a virtual event on June 18-19, 2020 (see page 31). In the meantime, planning con- tinues for SuperPile ’21, taking place in Philadelphia on June 23-25, 2021. The Call for Abstracts for presentations at SuperPile ’21 will be launched in June. S3: Slopes, Slides and Stabilization in 2021 is being held at the Hotel Kabuki in San Francisco, August 3-5, 2021. The 2.5-day conference, organized by nine DFI technical committees, focuses on effective application of deep foundations, ground improvement, and soil mixing for stabilization of slopes and excavation support. www.dfi.org/S3-2021 October 12-15, 2021: DFI’s 46 Annual Conference on Deep Foundations The 46 Annual Conference on Deep Foun- dations is being held at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, October 12-15, 2021. The event is being hosted by DFI in conjunction with leaders in the international deep mixing com- munity. This event is being organized by DFI of India in collaboration with Indian Geotechnical Society – Chennai Chapter and IIT Madras, Chennai.
