Allen Cadden, P.E., D.GE, Schnabel Engineering is the 2019 Lizzi Lecturer. The ISM Steering Committee invited Cadden to deli- ver this lecture in recognition of his distinguished contributions to the micropile industry. The lecture honors the spirit and memory of Dr. Fernando Lizzi (1914-2003), the visionary leader of ISM and the International Society for Micropiles (ISM) is hosting its 14 International Workshop on Micropiles (IWM) in Broadbeach, a suburb of the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia, August 21-23, 2019. The scholarship award consists of financial reimbursement of travel and accommodation expenses for attendance at the workshop, waiver of workshop registration fees and a suite of fundamental micropile publications. The scholarship award winner is being selected from an Australian university by the local organizing committee. The recipient will make a presentation on their micropile research being conducted or proposed. The World Cup of Micropiles is also being presented during the workshop.
