Committee Meetings and Testing Workshop The conference begins on Wednesday, May 1, with meetings of DFI’s Technical Committees, including the Industry-Wide Working Platforms Working Group. In parallel to the committee meetings, an Impact Testing for Site Characterization Workshop hosted by DFI’s Testing and Evaluation Committee, highlights best practices for using impact testing methods to enhance quality of site investigation. Presentations will provide an overview of the impact testing methods, details on how the tests are performed, established standards for their use, methods for interpreting test results, strengths and limitations in their use, case histories illustrating use of these methods in practice, and discussion of the method improvements that enhance the reliability of these techniques.
