Peel looks forward to riding his motorcycle and bicycle, spending time with his family, and traveling. Brian Bieller is vice president and road construction equipment business line manager, Steve Cole works as the distribution business development manager, Tim Hoffman serves as the heavy compaction equipment product manager, Jonathan Oney is paving and milling equipment product manager and Imelda Moon is the equipment parts product manager. The five managers have more than 90 years of combined industry exper- ience, and in their indivi- dual roles endeavor to ensure Atlas Copco’s dealers, rental companies and end users have a positive experience. Jonathan Oney, paving and milling product manager, received the Road Construction Equipment Contributor Award, and Jamie Roush received the Construction Technique Service Contributor Award. The company’s Portable Energy Contributor Mihajlov receiving award Award went to Rich Elliott, low-pressure compressor product manager in Columbus, Ohio. Kell Cleeland, Atlas Copco Carolina-area sales manager, received the Rookie of the Year Award and Ryan Mihajlov, inventory control and process supervisor, earned the President’s Award for Staff Excellence in Leadership. Atlas Copco appointed Matt Cadnum as vice president of sales for its rental channel where he will grow its breadth of products and services for rental centers across the U.S. Cadnum, formerly Atlas Copco Construction Equip- ment’s aftermarket vice president, is also responsible for leading the current rental service team and ensuring that the team provides quality support for rental centers. Cadnum brings more than 20 years of experience in the construction equipment industry, more than half with Atlas Copco. The National Hydropower Association recognized McMillen Jacobs Associates with an Outstanding Stewards of America’s Waters (OSAW) Award for its coordination of community involvement and contri- bution in the Blue Lake Hydroelectric Expansion Project. The city and borough of Sitka completed the largest public works project in its history by raising the existing Blue Lake Dam by 83 ft (25 m) to produce 33% more power using the same water source. The city, along with McMillen Jacobs Associates and Barnard Construction Company, also completed a successful outreach and education campaign to inform the community of the benefits of the project.
